Pathways Into Abstraction
This three-day workshop will explore a wide range of approaches to abstraction, including techniques of mark-making, methods to kickstart your painting, and a unique process Oliver calls “The Dramatic Reset” for transforming pieces that aren't quite working. You'll also learn masking techniques and participate in a module called Rendering Abstraction into Reality, which includes an analysis of dimensional form.
